Behind Mattenga's Pizzeria are two engineers who quit their jobs in pursuit of the American Dream! Matt and Enga’s passion for hospitality and good Italian food let them to buy a failing pizzeria in 2014 with zero prior restaurant experience! They want Mattenga’s to be the place where friends and families gather to deepen their relationships for the glory of God.

Mattenga's pizzas seem to be made with high quality ingredients. I have to order the fantastic pepperoni pizza each time, adding other toppings when in the mood. Unlike many other restaurants these days, Mattenga's salads are fresh, the lettuce green and crispy and the dressings are tasty. That's why I'm a regular customer. They care about the quality of their food, even for delivery orders.

Pizza and pizza rolls were legit!! The Molto Meat calzone was Fire 🔥🔥🔥. Stopped at this place out of the blue. Was driving down highway, opened Google maps and typed pizza.. closest pizza place was here . Definitely will be back next time I'm visiting San Antonio on vacation.. and the custom sodas are definitely my jam!! I loves all cream, root beers, vanilla sodas etc..

The best giant pizza, toppings are always fresh and generously portioned. The gluten Free crust is nice to have for my daughter. The salads are very big and usually very prompt service. The crust is not too doughy or thick. It’s really a great crust and our favorite is the supreme.

If you want to have…..the BEST pizza you’ve ever had in your LIFE. Get pizza here. I just had their pretzel sticks TODAY and it changed my life. I quit alcohol. My wife loves me again. My children and I played baseball together again. The limp in my right leg is gone. I want to bathe in that cheese. For eternity. May heaven be filled with their food. I love you Mattenga’s. This pizza was really tasty and the small side salad was big enough for two! I was surprised and excited by the availability of vegan toppings. You can also order online and get curbside service which was relatively quick and easy.
