Matt and Enga, both engineers, shared a passion beyond numbers. In 2014, they left their careers to pursue a dream of bringing people together over great pizza, despite having no restaurant experience.
Today, Mattenga’s Pizzeria reflects their passion, perseverance, and warm hospitality, with multiple locations in San Antonio where families and friends gather to share good food and meaningful moments.

Their recipes were crafted with Enga’s parents, who still work alongside them today, creating a true family-run atmosphere. Every dish is made with care, bringing people together over food that feels like home and moments worth remembering.

We’re known for our house-made ranches, from bold Texas Ranch with cilantro and jalapeño to our fan-favorite Basil Garlic Ranch. Every slice is made with heart, flavor, and a touch of fun.
