What an incredible month June was for Mattenga’s Pizzeria! We’re all about creating special moments and bringing people together, and this month was full of events that truly captured the spirit of community.
Primrose School and Children Lighthouse BYOP Fun Event
One of the highlights was our Build Your Own Pizza (BYOP) Day with the kids from Primrose School of Schertz. Their excitement was contagious, and it was a joy to see their faces light up as they crafted their own pizzas. The smiles were priceless, and we’re so happy to have been a part of making their day special.
Another fantastic BYOP event took place with the kids from Children Lighthouse at our Schertz location. The young chefs in the making had a blast, and we couldn’t be prouder to host such fun and creative experiences for the little ones in our community.
Honoring First Responders
June was also a month of giving back to our heroes. We proudly provided meals for the brave first responders at Callaghan, offering a small token of appreciation for their immense dedication and service. It’s an honor to serve those who serve us.
Supporting Local Athletes
We were also thrilled to support the incredible athletes at the South Texas Volleyball Academy 12 Mizuno by donating 12 pizzas to fuel their passion and performance. At Mattenga’s, we believe in supporting local talent and cheering them on every step of the way.
UPS vs. FedEx Rivalry
Our restaurant is known for bringing people together—even company rivals! We hosted an amusing and heartwarming lunch where competitors UPS and FedEx shared a meal together. It’s amazing to see how pizza can break down barriers and build bridges between people!
Kim’s Joyful Birthday Celebration
Finally, we had the pleasure of hosting a memorable birthday celebration for Kim. Families and friends gathered at Mattenga’s to share laughter, joy, and delicious food. We’re honored to have been part of such a special occasion, and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones with all of you.
