December was filled with festive joy, community connections, and exciting milestones at Mattenga’s Pizzeria. As the year came to a close, we had the opportunity to reflect on the positive impact we’ve made with the help of our incredible customers, partners, and team members.
A Merry Christmas Surprise! We were overjoyed to have our friends from Journey Fellowship Church stop by to spread some holiday cheer at our Schertz location. Their visit was a wonderful reminder of the power of community partnerships. They took the time to thank us for our collaboration throughout the year, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their kindness and festive spirit. It’s moments like these that make us appreciate our local connections and the opportunity to give back.
Serving the City of Cibolo with Pride Our catering crew was on the move this month, serving the City of Cibolo with a special event that brought people together to celebrate the season. Our team did an outstanding job, delivering delicious meals with the warm and friendly service that Mattenga’s is known for. It’s always a pleasure to be part of such meaningful events that bring our community closer.
Spreading Holiday Cheer at Schertz Holidazzle Another exciting moment came with our trailer crew serving at the Schertz Holidazzle event. We were honored to be part of this magical holiday tradition, offering hot and delicious food to all those who attended. The event was full of festive fun, and we were proud to be able to contribute to the celebrations.
Alamo Ranch’s Soft Opening On December 12th, we celebrated the soft opening of our 9th location in Alamo Ranch! The Friends and Family night was a great success, with supporters joining us for a preview of what’s to come. This expansion marks another exciting chapter for Mattenga’s Pizzeria, and we are grateful for all the love and support from our new neighbors.
A Wonderland of Flavors To make the season even brighter, we launched a limited-time menu item: the Wonderland Rolls. These festive treats were a hit with our customers and provided a delicious way to enjoy the holidays at Mattenga’s. We’re always excited to bring new, creative dishes to our menu, and the Wonderland Rolls were the perfect addition for December.
Celebrating Our Team at the Annual Christmas Party To round out the month, we held our annual company-wide Christmas party at our Schertz location. It was a special evening filled with laughter, celebration, and appreciation for the amazing team that makes Mattenga’s Pizzeria what it is. We are so thankful for every team member who contributes their hard work, passion, and dedication to delivering the best experience to our customers.
