August was a busy and exciting month for the Mattenga’s Pizzeria team! We’re thrilled to share the highlights of how we connected with our community and contributed to some fantastic causes throughout the month.
Big Order for Texas State University
We were excited to gear up for a significant order heading to Texas State University! It’s always a pleasure to cater to such a dynamic community, and we’re honored to play a role in helping to fuel the Bobcats!
Back to School with BASA
One of the highlights of the month was our participation in the Back-to-School event hosted by the Business Association of San Antonio (BASA). We had an absolute blast donating 150 pairs of scissors for the kids and handing out pizza coupons to brighten their day. There’s nothing better than giving back to the next generation while spreading the joy of pizza!
Teacher Appreciation at Garden Ridge Elementary
Our team was also proud to donate pizza vouchers to the amazing teachers at Garden Ridge Elementary School as part of their Teacher Appreciation celebration. It’s a small way for us to say thank you to the educators who shape young minds and strengthen our community.
Sponsoring Stone Oak Elementary School
We are excited to announce that Mattenga’s Pizzeria is now an official sponsor of Stone Oak Elementary School! This partnership allows us to show our appreciation for the hardworking teachers and students that make the school such a vibrant place. Supporting local schools is at the heart of what we do!
Pizza Donations to Watts Elementary School
We kept the school spirit going by donating delicious 10” pizzas to Watts Elementary School. We hope these tasty treats helped to bring some smiles to the students and staff!
